Sword of Destiny Age Rating

We will recommend an age rating of 18 for the book Sword of Destiny by Sword of Destiny. This is not just about the violence and sexual content that make the books unsuitable for children. They contain complex themes that eight-year-olds can’t easily understand. It’s just not a good idea, they’ll be confused and bored.

Book Review

Overall Book Ratings
Profanity
Violence
Sex Nudity
The violence is another story! Additionally, there are no real identifiable villains or heroes, everyone is heartless, manipulative, ruthless in their own way.
The closest thing the books have to a villain is Vilgefortz, who is a depraved psychopathic sadist, who also happens to be the single most powerful mage on the Continent.
Sex, strong political and racial themes. More sex. Loads of cuss words.
But there are lots of things that are not easy to understand for kids, mostly the political and strategical subplots.
I think children shouldn’t read these books earlier because firstly many things would go over their head and secondly because the story goes quite dark, especially the Bonhart stuff is not something to read at that age.
