The episode is set in a different universe. The first episode is named “Contact” and is set in the year 2552. In this episode, the UNSC is seen booed by the powers of Spartan supersoldiers and is discussing the dangers associated with it.¬† Later, in this episode, Kwan Ha Boo with her family and friends is seen working at the mining station.

The first episode of the Halo TV Series may look quite dull to some viewers as all the statements made about the war and surveillance are never seen backed up by actual facts.
