Will Smith Resigned from Oscar Academy after last Sunday’s ceremony. Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock on stage when Chris was talking about Will’s family and wife.
However, Will soon realizes his mistake and said sorry for his behavior. He said, “My actions at the 94th Academy Awards presentation were shocking, painful, and inexcusable”. Will is not happy with what he did at the event and now he has decided to resign from Oscar Academy.

The Oscar Academy said that they accepted the resignation and would “continue to move forward” and continue with required disciplinary proceedings.
This all started after Chris’s joke about Will’s wife’s shaved head. Will does not like the joke at all as his wife is suffering from a hair-loss condition named alopecia.
