In most sequences of this game series, monsters return along with a host of new monsters that are exclusively developed for Rising. There are fourteen types of weapons in this game, taken from the old Monster Hunter Generations and World, and their game has a mixed archetype of swords and shields to staves, bows, and guns, which are present in this gameplay.

This game uses a seamless map. It was the first used in Monster Hunter: World, unlike the zoned area approach typical of earlier games in the series. The maps’ directions are much more focused on vertical movement than the previous games; it is a very new tool ven to the player to help them with quick vertical scaling. The Wirebug is similar to the Clutch Claw added in Monster Hunter World: Iceborn, which allows a player to grapple and swing across the gaps or even to the higher locations just as needed.

As such, the Wirebug interacts with all the weapons in different ways. Plus to the weapon’s set of moves and combos.

This Wirebug also allows the player to set for the monsters in Wyvern Riding, which makes the Hunter mount and control the creature to a limited degree like as to either lead it into areas more amenable for combat or involved in combat with a different monster. Malamutes are the new dog-like companions given to the players as the helping creatures in rising.

They help the players quickly navigate the map without losing stamina. They can do so by riding on this animal.

Malamutes can help them in many ways. They can cliff the scale and also perform the attacking gigs if it’s necessary at the time of fighting with the monsters, Alongside all the other companions that are there to help the players.

Another cat-like creature is Palicoes, and this creature is taken from previous games. Rise game has both the features of a single play or multiplayer modes. It can be played local or online with four of the hunters in a group,

In a mode of a single space, You have to—hunt with up to two of any combination of the Palico or Palamute companions. But In the online modes, players have to select up to one of either the Palico or Palamute like to join them.

To add to the series’ typical hunts, this game introduces Rampage, and it is a survival mode where players have to defend the base village from several attacking monsters anyhow. Before and during the attack, players have to set the siege weapons and instruct non-player characters to attack the enemy forces, And the players can attack the monsters directly.

Only in the village of computer, it is announced that the player character has been turned into a hunter, By the Guild formed by the Wyverian twins Hinoa and Minoto.

And then they take the new Hunter to the leader of the village, Fugen, though along the way, an unknown flying creature is there in the way to the village, And the player can see it far in the distance.

Fugen is the village leader, and he congratulates the Hunter on their success. Still, they also warn about the pending signs of “The Rampage,” a mysterious calamity that occurred fifty years ago where a large troop of monsters attacked the village in an amount of frenzied rage.

This Fugen then gives tasks to the Hunter to prepare themselves for a possible recurrence of the Rampage, and they can do so by helping with various quests to protect and supply the village with goods on the time of building up their hunting.

Other signs of the Rampage suddenly emerge, and then Fugen instructs the Hunter to go to the Stronghold, a battleground that guards the players at the gates to Kamura. The Hunter starts repelling the attacking moves,

From there, Yomogi, who is the village chief, and Iori, who is the “Buddy Handler, “are suddenly attacked by a tiger-like creature having mace tail; wyvern, forcing them to retreat. Fugen then again aware the trio that the monster is known as “Magnamalo,” and it appears alongside the Rampage and always feeds on monsters of the horde. Following Fugen’s orders, the Hunter slays Magnamalo.

When the players return to the village, Fugen and Hinoa congratulate the Hunter on their victory once again, Fugen gives the Hunter his Long Sword, And this sword is very much important because it has been passed down from one generation to this village of Kamura.

At the time of going through with another Rampage attack as Hinoa wonders how long the Rampage is going to last, suddenly that flying monster again appears, and it has the serpentine dragon-like structure.

This is the same monster that the Hunter saw earlier. Hina’s eyes suddenly turn blue, and she says, “Where is my queen? Where is my queen?” before regaining her senses. The monster is identified as an Elder Dragon called the Wind Serpent, Ibushi. After Ibushi is repelled, the group begins to question who Ibushi’s “queen” is. Master Atsushi, the village’s lookout, discovers who Ibushi’s “queen” is: the Thunder Serpent, Narwa. Here the matter of concern is who is Ibushi’s female counterpart and mate.

After doing research, the guild revealed the origins of Ibushi and Narwa. Every fifty years, Ibushi and Narwa will emerge to mate with each other; to do so, Ibushi will wander the land to seek out Narwa. Ibushi is also behind, causing destructive storms by sending dragon energy into the ground. This turbulence is so strong that it will uproot trees and wipe out the landscape. And because of that, nearby monsters become terrified and flee directly into Kamura Village. Norway has to wait in a location.

She prefers to stay there until Ibushi can locate her. However, the disturbance caused by her presence and electromagnetic abilities tends to drive the other monsters berserk, leading to a rampage event that will regularly hit Kamura Village during the Serpent’s mating process.

This information shows that the actions of the Serpent Elder Dragons are the primary cause of the Rampage. Like the fact that Narwa had wiped out most of the village’s hunters, they are dependent on the Hunter to slay Narwa. After a deadly battle with the Thunder Serpent, Narwa is seemingly killed when she falls to her death. Narwa’s corpse is lost, and nobody has found it, however, and that’s why Fugen believes that Narwa is still not dead.

The Hunter witnesses Hinata and Minoto, possessed by Ibushi and Narwa, talking to one another in the night and saying that their offspring will roam across the earth.

After defeating various elder dragons, the Hunter is told that Narwa and Ibushi have returned and finally united. Fugen calls the Hunter to confront the two serpents and end the Rampage for good.

The Hunter starts its battle with Ibushi, whose life force is devoured, which transforms her into Narwa the Allmother after increasing her power. The Hunter faces the Narwa again and is shocked by the unexpected arrival of Magnamalo, who attacks the Thunder Serpent.

After a destructive battle, the Hunter again defeats Narwa and returns to the village. Fugen gives Hunter the name of The Savior of Kamura, and the village celebrates with great joy with the feast, and Hinoa states that the village is finally free from all the enemy forces.

Monster Hunter Rise Review

Pros: New, versatile movement of abilities, and it also expands combat and exploration. Has Greatly improved visuals and the performance of the Nintendo Switch version. The Unique Japanese aesthetic is also used, and world design stands apart from all the previous entries.

Cons: Visual effects are again very obscure in combat. Anf hunter voices are very annoying.

The Graphics are very much clean. This game is not better than the world’s standards, but it’s very solid, especially for the Nintendo playing Platform.

Not meant to be PC graphics, it’s a Nintendo Switch, and even for the Switch, this game blows graphics are expected to be away through the roof. If you want that level of detail, then please go to enjoy the gameplay.

The actual excitement is THE THRILL OF THE HUNT: There is nothing better this game to be together with your friends/pals and be a hunter to hunt down a challenging monster that will give you a run for your money and then easily upgrade your weapons/armor as you make progress through the game and fight more challenging monsters.

I will say this it has not been extremely difficult to progress through the game for me at least, but that might be because I am pretty seasoned with the previous games and know what I’m doing most of the time, so it might be more difficult for any new player to find this game like that is not very familiar with the game mechanics/knowledge to learn.

This game is Beautifully Designed. The publisher and developer Capcom added more exciting content, challenging monsters. They will make it very difficult for players on many monsters to come as they are impressively added with DLC. It also has Free content, so there is room for Challenge. You like to trust me this game is best for players. This game is very good in my opinion, and everything about this game has been made fantastic done, And this game is worth playing,

So what are you waiting for? Go and enjoy the gameplay.

  1. Naturally it is worth it, a Monster hunter game lasts at least for 100 hours and if someone wants 1000 hours out of it, they can get it. (Edit: I want to add that 1000 hours wasn’t meant as a recommendation as far as playtime goes. Depending on your goals, grinding can be a waste of time or it can be training and having fun. My recommendation is to use your time wisely, take long breaks and play other games too.)
