The game Guild Wars 2 Gameplay
Guild Wars 2 uses a modified version of the game engine developed for Guild Wars by ArenaNet. The modifications to the engine include real-time 3D environments, enhanced graphics and animations, and the use of the Havok physics system.
The developers say the engine now does justice to the game’s critically acclaimed concept art, and that concept art will be integrated into the way the story is told to the player.
Guild Wars 2 allows a player to create a character from a combination of five races and eight professions, the five races being the humans and charr.

The texture of the environments from all the trailers and map previews is really worrying. I think the map looks cool design wise but the texture on the environments is really low res which makes it look very dated. It’s surprising considering how beautiful PoF maps are. I hope they polish that out so that it is on par with the quality of PoF. Guild Wars 2 End of Dragons – The Jade Sea is amazing. I wish the color of the sea was closer to GW1. It is jarringly green and doesn’t appear to have the some feeling of motion that it did in GW1. Prob too late to make any major adjustments but with lots of folks saying similar things, maybe the team could make some tweaks. Expac looks promising regardless!
