PG here stands for parental guidance. The movies under PG rating need to be further investigated by the parents before their kids start to watch them. There may be something that may not be appropriate for very young kids out there. Content is mild in nature.

The movies falling under this category is suitable for kids above the age of 12 only. The content can disturb the audience under the age of 12. Parents need to be present with their kids if they decide to watch anything rated 12A.

The movies in 12 ratings are suitable for audiences above 12. The Content is moderate in nature but it can disturb an audience below 12. Content may vary from movie to movie.

The movies in 15 ratings are made for an audience above 15 only. The content shown is quite strong in nature. However, it may vary from movie to movie. It is somehow similar to the Soft R rating used in the US.

The movies in 15 ratings are made for an audience above 18 only. The content is strong in nature. It is similar to the R rating used in the US. The impact of this kind of movie is very strong in nature.
R18
The movies under this R18 rating are restricted to only licensed premises. The content is very strong and has the ability to disturb the audience under the age of 18.
