This show is a real depiction of the struggles of infertility and trying to adopt. It is shown that Nikki and Jason find themselves unable to conceive a child even though they desperately want one.
This journey of the couple comes with plenty of worries on its own. At the end of season 1, the couple once gets accepted to adopt at the end of Season 1.
