The book is loved! We think that The Summer I Turned is the most comforting novel you can ever read as a teenager. I personally love the character Belly, and her adventure in finding herself, and who she truly loves.
The idea behind the plot is good but The Summer I Turned Pretty Age Rating 12+ as it includes Some sexual content, Some Violence, Consumption of alcohol, and Strong Language throughout the book.
