The Secrets of Dumbledore: A threequel to Fantastic Beasts is on its way
This is the third installment in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, The Secrets of Dumbledore is set several years after the events of the second movie, in the 1930s.
It will follow Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and Co. on a new mission that takes them into the heart of Gellert Grindelwald’s (Mads Mikkelsen) army.
The director of the previous two films of the series David Yates will also direct this one. The Secrets of Dumbledore is a production of Heyday Films. Warner Bros. Pictures is the global distributor. The screenplay for The Secrets of Dumbledoreis done by J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is set for release in UK cinemas on April 8, 2022, and in US cinemas on April 15, 2022.
Plotline
In the Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore we will see Dumbledore attempt to stop Grindelwald from seizing control of the wizarding world. He needs Newt’s help to lead a team of wizards, witches, and one brave Muggle on a dangerous mission.
It’ll see them encounter old and new beasts as they clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But when the stakes are so high, can Dumbledore stay on the sidelines and what secrets is he hiding?
