The Real Magic Mike is a competition TV-Show of HBO Max and is inspired by Warner Bros. Pictures’ Magic Mike films which were led by Channing Tatum and were also based on his early days as a stripper before becoming a blockbuster star.

This reality tv-show hails from executive producers Channing Tatum and Steven Soderbergh.

Finding Magic Mike assembles 10 men from across the country who feel like they’ve lost their, well, magic. The show puts these men through the wringer of a Magic Mike-style boot camp, where they learn sexy and daring dance routines in search of being crowned “the real Magic Mike.” The winner will receive a cash prize.

The Real Magic Mike Release date

The seven-episode, unscripted series will air on the platform on December 16.

The Real Magic Mike Age Rating

After watching the trailer I will suggest that this should be rated as A (Adult) as it contains a lot of mature content that may be not suitable for children under the age of 17.

Finding Magic Mike is executive produced by Tatum, Soderbergh, Reid Carolin, Peter Kiernan, Gregory Jacobs, Nick Wechsler, Vincent Marini, Alycia Rossiter, Cassie Lambert Scalettar, Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening, David Tibballs, Adam Rodriguez, Anita Brown, Kevin Boyer, and Jenny Chan.

The Real Magic Mike Mike Overview

The new show will follow 10 men who, according to the show’s logline, have “lost their magic.” The competition-driven series will follow the group as they get whipped back into shape in all aspects of their minds, bodies, and spirits as they are trained and taught sultry and physically demanding dance routines that they will then need to perform for a set of judges to see who stays and who goes.

At the end of the series, we will find out exactly who has what it takes to be the real Magic Mike. More than just bragging rights and new dirty dance moves, the winner will also be taking home a hefty cash prize.

The Real Magic Mike Judges

The show will feature Adam Rodriguez, Alison Faulk, Vincent Marini, and Luke Broadlick along with guest judges including Whitney Cummings, Nikki Glaser, Nicole Scherzinger, Amanda Seales, and Robin Thede.

The Real Magic Mike Official Trailer

The new trailer for Finding Magic Mike finds one guy getting his shirt stuck on his head in the middle of a striptease, and others learning how to pull off dance moves. The most outrageous bit comes at the end when one contestant starts unleashing his moves on an older woman on stage.

“Yo, that’s somebody’s grandma, bro!” Someone shouts at them.

All seven episodes of Finding Magic Mike land on HBO Max on Dec. 16. Watch the trailer above.
