TV-Series The Circle Overview

In this series, contestants live in an apartment building showcasing the infamous circle on the outside. They are literal neighbors, but never meet face to face. They communicate through a social media app called “The Circle”.

Season 1: In the first season, the contestants move into the same apartment building. However, the contestants do not meet face-to-face during the course of the competition, as they each live in their own individual apartments. They communicate solely using their profiles on a specially designed social media app that gives them the ability to portray themselves in any way they choose.

Season 2: Like the previous season, players compete against each other to become the most popular, but never actually meet. Instead, they communicate through a specially designed app and are able to portray themselves in any way they choose.

Season 3: The show begins with eight people who get to know one another virtually. Any one of them could be catfishing, and at the end of each episode, they have to vote off the one person they believe didn’t make as good of an impression as everyone else. A few curveballs get thrown into the mix as new people enter the apartment building overtime to throw people off their game.
