St. Patrick’s Day is dedicated to St. Patrick from Ireland. St. Patrick was a patron saint, born in Ireland 4th Century. He was born in a good family but his life was full of struggles and hardships. At the age of 16, he got kidnapped and forced to work as a slave.
St. Patrick somehow managed to escape from that trap and return to his home in 432 CE. After his return, he started working for the betterment of society. He died on March 17, 461. Before his death, St. Patrick did a lot of things for his community.

St. Patrick’s Day was first started in the USA during the 18th century and in the 20th, it was adopted by Ireland also. Apart from USA and Ireland, many countries around the world celebrate this day in their own unique way.
