The makers of the series decided to fire him after his unacceptable conduct on set. The investigation on Frank Langella has been completed now and the team has decided to recast the role of Roderick Usher.

This news at a time when almost half of the shooting of the series has been done comes as a shock to everyone. It is assumed that already filmed scenes will now go for a reshoot.
