Making Daylight Saving Time Permanent: Daylight Saving Time was initially started by Germany in the year 1916 at the time of World War I. This was introduced in order to reduce the consumption of fuel and light at the time of war. It became famous in Germany in no time and seeing its effect many other countries started adopting it. 

The USA adopted Daylight Saving Time on March 19, 1918. This concept gained very popularity during World War but become abolished after the war. In the USA, it was termed as “War Time”.

The Daylight Saving Time concept has become permanent in many big countries. The clocks in the entire these countries advance one hour on the last Sunday in April at 2 midnight and also return back 1 hour on the last Sunday in October at 2 midnight. This concept is now used to make summer days a little short and winter days long.
