Jared Padalecki is recovering after a recent car accident confirmed his Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles.
While Jensen did not confirm the date of the accident the actor shared on his social media that Jared “wasn’t driving, he was in the passenger seat” at the time that it occurred and that there were thankful “no fatalities” as a result.
“He’s lucky to be alive,” Jensen said. “And not only that, but he’s a home recovering which—the fact that he’s not in a hospital right now is blowing my mind because I saw the car.”
The CW series Supernatural ended in 2020 and Ackles and Padalecki were onscreen brothers.
After the ending of the show, they have remained close even as they moved on to other shows. They reunited on Padalecki’s current show set.
Ackles and Padalecki both starred opposite one another on Supernatural for 15 seasons, playing brothers Dean and Sam Winchester, respectively.
