Jada Pinkett Smith is returning with Red Table Talk on Wednesday after the oscar incident for its 1st episode since her husband Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars last month.
Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield Norris are all set for the fifth season of their talk show the Red Table Talk.

A trailer was released and fans are excited to know if the new season will address the Oscars controversy or incident involving Will Smith’s slap or not. While the promo introduces the guest for the new season but there is no mention of the recent Oscars incident.
This season is also Alec Baldwin’s ex-wife Kim Basinger and her daughter Ireland Baldwin. The trailer shows that Basinger addresses her public split with Baldwin as she says, “I wouldn’t leave the house, I would no longer go to dinner. I had to relearn to drive.”
The trailer shows an episode of the Smith siblings as Willow, Jaden, and Trey that are featuring in their first single episode together. It’s not yet clear that the kids will address the incident involving their father Will Smith in the oscar incident.
The show has previously shown the family members come out in open about their relationship and bond including in an emotional episode of Will Smith and Jada. The Smith family has been in the limelight following the Oscars incident where Will slapped Chris Rock on stage at the ceremony.
Smith publicly apologized to the comedian and has also been banned by the Academy from attending the ceremony for ten years.
