Happy K9 Veterans Day

Happy K9 Veterans Day is an annual reminder for all people in honor of K9 units who have served since world war II. All the dogs who were on duty during world war II.

After the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941 dogs were also joined in military service. By November of 1942, the military prepared the first Dogs for Defense for duty in North Africa. They became a very important part of that in the military.

History of #NATIONALK9VETERANSDAY

As NationalK9VeteransDay was formed in 1942 on the official birthday of the US Army K9 Corps. Joseph White, a retired military working dog trainer, originated this idea. The program was approved by the U.S. Army in March 1942, the U.S. Army K9 Corps was founded on March 13, 1942. Get ready to celebrate America’s patriotic dogs.

So the day 13th march was marked as NATIONAL K9 VETERANS DAY in the National day calendar.
