The movie revolves around a famous and well-known writer named Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock). Loretta is seen struggling in her life as she was feeling quite depressed after the death of her husband. However, everything changes after she met a rich explorer named Firefax (Daniel Radcliffe) who took Loretta on an adventure that too without her consent.
In the adventure, Loretta was asked in fact forced to find The Lost City which she had mentioned in her book previously. Loretta was not enjoying that adventure at all until Alan (Channing Tatum) arrives. Alan has come only to rescue Loretta and prove to her that he can be a hero in real life too. Alan’s arrival took this trip to a whole new level and made it more happening.
They spent a lot of time together, which made Loretta know the real Alan. She got to know that her perception of Alan was all wrong. He is actually a great man who is always ready to help others.
