Lionsgate has announced the development news of the sequel to the 1987 film Dirty Dancing at CinemaCon in April.
Jennifer Grey will reprise her role as Baby for the sequel is just announced officially with its release date.
However, the sequel is untitled yet the screenplay is written by Elizabeth Chomko, Jonathan Levine, Mikki Daughtry, and Tobias Iaconis.
Dirty Dancing Sequel Release Date
The sequel will debut in theaters on February 9, 2024. The film is set in the ’90s and will show the events after three decades of Dirty Dancing. The film production is expected to start this year.
The original film was one of the best-selling films of Lionsgate.
