“Turning Red” is a new Disney and Pixar film that gets released on Disney+ on March 11. The movie features a fictional boy band called 4*Town, whose members include Finneas. In addition to being a band member, Finneas produced 4*Town’s new song “Nobody Like U,” co-written with his sister Billie Eilish. The Age Rating of “Turning Red” is Rated PG for some thematic material shown.

Billie Eilish is an American singer and songwriter and has received several awards, including seven Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, one Guinness World Record, three MTV Video Music Awards, three Brit Awards, and a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song. She is the youngest artist in Grammy history and the second one to win all four categories—Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year.

Turning Red is an American animated fantasy-comedy film written by Julia Cho, Domee Shi, directed by Domee Shi, and produced by Lindsey Collins.

The film is distributed by Disney+, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. However, the production companies are Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Pictures.

Mei Lee is a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective if the not slightly overbearing mother, Ming, is never far from her daughter an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships, and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited, she “poofs” into a giant red panda!

Turning Red Voice Cast

• Rosalie Chiang (Meilin “Mei” Lee)- Mei is our protagonist in Turning Red. she is 13 years old growing up in Toronto, Canada making her Chinese and Canadian. 
• Sandra Oh (Ming Lee)– Mei’s mother in Turning Red, some of her most famous TV roles was playing Cristina Yang in the hit show, Grey’s Anatomy, as well as portraying an agent in Killing Eve. With movies, this isn’t her first voice role, as she had major parts in both.

• Ava Morse (Miriam)- Ava Morse plays Miriam, one of Mei’s friends in Turning Red. Morse, while she’s guest-starred in Chicago P.D. and the TV series, Somebody Somewhere, this film is one of her first major voice roles, with her playing Ava in Ron’s Gone Wrong. 

• Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Priya)– Another friend of Mei’s is Priya, voiced by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. While Ramakrishnan is a relative newcomer to Hollywood, she is the star of the Never Have I Ever cast on Netflix, a TV series.

• Hyein Park (Abby)– Abby, who is voiced by Hyein Park, completes Mei’s friend group. She has chaotic energy and is confident and bold. Abby, who is Korean-Canadian, is also not afraid to be aggressive, and she follows through on helping her friends. 

• 4*Town – Robaire (Jordan Fisher) & Jesse (Finneas O’Connell)- 4*Town is the boy band that Mei and her friends are obsessed with, and songs were written by Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell.

• Wai Ching Ho (Grandma)- Grandma will always be there for you, and there’s no denying that in Turning Red. Playing Mei’s grandma is Wai Ching Ho, who has been in the business for some time.
