At the CinemaCon presentation, Warner Bros. confirms The Batman 2 is moving forward with director Matt Reeves and main lead Robert Pattinson.
At the Warner Bros. CinemaCon panel, the studio announced The Batman 2 is officially moving forward. Reeves will return to direct the film and Robert Pattinson again stars as the Dark Knight.
Reeves said during the presentation that he is “excited to jump back into this world, but more on that at a future CinemaCon.” Besides these, no other details regarding the returning cast are revealed.
Reeves and Pattinson both are interested in making a sequel. However, it is not yet clear where The Batman 2 will go plot-wise. Reeve has not confirmed the villain in this film. we can expect Joker will play a part in it.
Also, no release date is confirmed for the film it seems likely that The Batman 2 won’t open until 2024.
A sequel of The Batman is not surprising as The Batman has now made more than $750 million at the worldwide box office. Warner Bros.
