Synopsis/ Overview

The lush alien world of Pandora is inhabited by the Na’vi, who appear primitive but are highly developed. Because the planet’s environment is toxic, human/Na’vi hybrids, called Avatars, must connect with human minds to allow free movement on Pandora.

Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paralyzed ex-Marine, becomes mobile again through one such Na’vi and falls in love with a Navy lady (Zoe Saldana). As a bond grows with him, he becomes involved in a fight for survival in his world.
