The Witcher has become one of Netflix's most famous shows, and it has now been declared that acclaimed actress Minnie Driver will be joining the cast of the property's newly prequel mini-series,
Blood Origin was first declared in 2020, following the accomplishment of The Witcher's first season in 2019.
Netflix announced at TUDUM that Blood Origin will premiere Christmas Day, Dec. 25.
The other two members of the main trio consist of Laurence O'Fuarain as Fjall, an elven strongman out to avenge the death of a friend,
Previously announced as six episodes, Blood Origin will now consist of four meaty installments.
This is just one of a number of changes that Blood Origin has seen, with a number of reported reshoots taking place afore this year.
The flow service declared during its TUDUM fan event that Driver would be joining Blood Origin as the show's narrator, which is included to suitable one of its main characters.
Her character is contemplated somewhat of a "tour guide" for the fans as the series progress.
She believes this story needs to be told again in the modern Witcher world for progress to be made in the future.
