In the series we know how later Thorfinn attacks Canute for denying him his wish of being the one to kill Askeladd, Thorfinn is enslaved as punishment. In the Vinland Saga Season 2, Yuto Uemura main character of the series will reprise his role as Thorfinn, Kensho Ono will return as Canute, and Akio Ootsuka will return as Thorkill.
