Sarah Janet Maas is an American fantasy author. She was born on 5 March 1986 now she’s 37 years old. Sarah is best known for her fantasy series Throne of Glass and A Court of Thorns and Roses.

She lives in New York City but Sarah grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. She is the daughter of a Catholic mother and a Jewish father, Maas began writing his first novel, Throne of Glass, at the age of sixteen.
