The Guiding Light star Lee Lawson Dies at 80: Lee Lawson died at the age of 80 on May 22. Lee is quite famous for her role as Bea Reardon in the soap opera The Guiding Light. She played this role for CBS from 1981 to 1990. The last episode of the show premiered in the year 2009.

This tragic news was shared by her daughter, Leslie Bova. She shared the news in a Facebook post. Her post revealed that her mother was suffering from cancer and also has COVID-19 before her death.

“Rest, you brilliant woman ❤️,”. “Thank you, mom. R.I.P.,” wrote Leslie on Tuesday. 

Lee Lawson was born in New York City on Oct. 14, 1941. In 1965, she made her debut on the CBS soap Love of Life. In 1979, she also appeared as Wanda Webb Wolek in ABC’s One Life Live.
