This tragic news was shared by her daughter, Leslie Bova. She shared the news in a Facebook post. Her post revealed that her mother was suffering from cancer and also has COVID-19 before her death.

“Rest, you brilliant woman ❤️,”. “Thank you, mom. R.I.P.,” wrote Leslie on Tuesday. 

Lee Lawson was born in New York City on Oct. 14, 1941. In 1965, she made her debut on the CBS soap Love of Life. In 1979, she also appeared as Wanda Webb Wolek in ABC’s One Life Live.
