Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai Overview
In 1635, Tsukumo Hanshiro’s group has lost its status and demands authorization to perform seppuku in the yard of the palace of Lord Ii. Senior retainer Saitō Kageyu reveals to Hanshiro the story of Squire Chijiiwa Motome, another samurai from a similar faction who had chatted with a similar solicitation the earlier year in 1634. Thinking that he was feigning to acquire cash, Ii’s retainers booked the custom quickly with Omodaka Hikokurō going about as second.
Motomo asked for one more day and 3 ryō to treat his wiped-out spouse and kid.
