TV-Series Dear White People Overview

At a predominantly white Ivy League college, a group of black students navigates various forms of racial and other types of discrimination.

Season 1:

Volume 1 tells the stories within the perspectives of characters like Samantha White, a biracial activist who is dating Gabriel Mitchell, Lionel Higgins, a shy and quiet student with internal conflicts, Colandrea Conners, a dark-skinned woman that preserves her blackness, Reginard Green, a proud activist that deals with personal trauma, and Troy Fairbanks, the golden boy to a successful and powerful dean.

Season 2:

In Season 2, with the chaos from the protests, Town Hall, and a fire at Davis House forcing the integration of Armstrong-Parker House, the black students are adapting to the new changes that arise. Samantha White deals with trolls and opposition for being a biracial activist while in unresolved conflict with Gabe Mitchell, who works on a documentary about racism on campus.

Season 3:

In Season 3, while Sam and Lionel try to understand their discovery from the previous semester, Winchester University finds itself unraveling with a former student, Moses Brown, arrives on campus.
