Chernobyl sensationalizes the narrative of the April 1986 atomic plant calamity which happened in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Soviet Union, recounting the accounts of individuals who were associated with the fiasco and the individuals who reacted to it.
The series portrays a portion of the lesser-known accounts of the catastrophe, including the endeavors of the firemen who were the people on call on the scene, volunteers, and groups of excavators who burrowed a basic passage under Reactor 4.
