The Pact is an upcoming indie romantic–comedy film written and directed by Robert Mychal Patrick Butler. Kimel Fryer will serve as producer. The filming of the project is about to begin this year.
Cast Members
Half of the cast was announced earlier including Ne-Yo, Taylor Kay Whitley, Kym Whitley, Keith Dean, Grace Aubry, Crystal Smith, and Ashleigh Morgan.
The three new cast members are also added to it including Terrell Carter, Matthew Sauvé, and singer CeCe Peniston.
Ne-Yo has signed on to star alongside his real-life aunt Kym Whitley and niece Tyler Kay Whitley (The Game)
The Pact Release Date
No official release date has been announced yet. However, filming is scheduled to begin this year.
The film follows two best friends Jessie and Brandon who made a pact in college to get married on their 30th birthday, should they both be single at the time. After Brandon gets dumped by his longtime girlfriend Amanda on the eve of his 30th, he heads to Vegas with Jessie, marrying her after a night of drunken shenanigans.
