“Turning Red” is a new Disney and Pixar film that gets released on Disney+ on March 11. The movie features a fictional boy band called 4*Town, whose members include Finneas. In addition to being a band member, Finneas produced 4*Town’s new song “Nobody Like U,” co-written with his sister Billie Eilish. The Age Rating of “Turning Red” is Rated PG for some thematic material and content shown.

About ” Turning Red”

Turning Red is an American computer-animated coming-of-age fantasy-comedy film written by Julia Cho, Domee Shi, directed by Domee Shi, and produced by Lindsey Collins.

The film is distributed by Disney+, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. However, the production companies are Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Pictures, Pearl Studio, Sparkle Roll Media.

Disney and Pixar’s “Turning Red” introduces Mei Lee who is a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective if the not slightly overbearing mother, Ming, is never far from her daughter an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships, and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited, she “poofs” into a giant red panda!

PG-rated means Parental Guidance Suggested, Some Material May Not Be Suitable for Children. The film should be investigated further by parents. There may be some content such as language, violence, or brief nudity, but they aren’t so intense that more than guidance is suggested. 

At Disney Plus, the film is rated appropriate for children over the age of six although the description adds that there are some flashing light sequences or patterns that may affect viewers.
