About the Game

A new era of survival horror arrives with Resident Evil Requiem, the latest and most immersive entry yet in the iconic Resident Evil series. Players experience terrifying survival horror with FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft, and dive into pulse-pounding action with legendary agent Leon S. Kennedy.

It features a new playable character, FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft, who investigates a series of mysterious deaths involving the survivors of the Raccoon City incident with the aid of federal agent and returning protagonist Leon S. Kennedy. Gameplay alternates between Grace and Leon.

The story is set 30 years after Raccoon City was destroyed. It reflects on what the outbreak meant — it is a tribute to the lives lost and those forever changed.

Gameplay

Grace’s sections continue the survival horror gameplay of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil Village. Leon’s sections are action-oriented, similar to games such as Resident Evil 4. Both characters can be played from first-person or third-person perspectives.

Grace is limited by the supplies she can obtain and carry. Analyzing enemies to determine when to fight or flee is the key to life or death. Along with an array of firearms and his trusty hatchet, Leon can also fight using melee attacks, parries, and even enemy weapons.

Grace can use infected enemy blood to craft items, ammo, and injectors that can take down enemies in one hit.
