Vince Staples Set to Star in Comedy Series at Netflix

Vince Staples (American rapper ) led Netflix comedy series loosely based on his life. The series is titled"'The Vince Staples Show".

Kenya Barris (American film and television writer, producer, director, and actor) and Vince Staples are set to work together for "The Vince Staples Show".  

Vince Staples will be the executive producer of the Netflix show "The Vince Staples Show" whose shooting will be in his hometown of Long Beach, California. 

Vince Staples will produce the series first two Episodes with Barris, Ian Edelman, Maurice Williams, Corey Smyth and Calmatic.

Vince Staples said in an interview that "I am excited to partner with Netflix and Kenya Barris on "The Vince Staples Show".

The story of the series is based in Long Beach, California where Staples and his family moved in an effort to escape the crime-ridden neighborhood.

The series could explore Vince Staples's past which had street gang violence as per reports.  

Tracey Pakosta (Netflix head of comedy ) said in an interview that "It’s our mission to work with the best artists in the world".

Vince Staples is known for his earlier roles as Black Panther (2018), Creed (2015), and 6 Underground (2019).
