'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' is ending After 19 seasons

Ellen Lee DeGeneres is an American comedian, television host, actress, writer, and producer.

DeGeneres announced that the nineteenth season is set to be her last. It premiered on September 13, 2021.

She informed her staff on May 11 and will sit down with longtime pal and daytime predecessor Oprah Winfrey to discuss the news on Ellen‘s May 13 show.

The departure from the show is something DeGeneres has openly wrestled with in the past also.

DeGeneres previously indicated that she was seriously considering ending her show, most recently in 2019.
