‘The Blacklist’: Amir Arison, Laura Sohn Leaving show After 9 Seasons

The Blacklist is saying farewell to two series cast which includes one of NBC drama longest cast members Amir Arison.

Amir Arison was portrayed as Aram Mojtabi for the past 9 seasons but is now leaving as he is preparing to make his debut in The Kite Runner.

Laura Sohn is also leaving the show, portrayed FBI agent Alina Park for the past 3 seasons. Both cast exits were revealed at end of tonight Season 9 finale.

The door remains open for Arison to make guest appearances in Season 10. His departure comes a year after when original female lead Megan Boone leave.

Arison said “I have been so honored to play Aram Mojtabai for 9 years on The Blacklist, its not lost on me how lucky I am to have been able to work and evolve with a role for 9 years'

Arison joined The Blacklist as a recurring in Season 1 and was promoted in Season 2. He was regular till Season 9 with James Spader, Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix and Hisham Tawfiq.

Sohn joined The Blacklist in Season 7 as a recurring and was promoted till Season 8. She is leaving the series to pursue her other projects.

The Blacklist is produced by Sony Pictures Television Studios and Universal Television.
