Serena Williams is ‘Moving On’ From Tennis To Expand Family

Recently heart saddening news has come about the famous and Incredible player taking off her feet from the field.

Serena is planning to retire from playing tennis professionally to focus on her to raise her family correctly.

In a cover story of Vogue Magazine, Serena confirmed that she is going to play her last tournament will be U.S. Open.

Serena is already a mother of a four-year-old daughter, Olympia Ohanian and now she is planning for another baby with her husband Alexis Ohanian.

Serena wants to be a good mother to their kids, She said, "I’m here to tell you that I’m evolving away from tennis, toward other things that are important to me.” 

Meanwhile, she doesn't want to get retire also, “It’s the hardest thing I could ever imagine, I hate it. I hate that I have to be at this crossroads,” she added.

“If I were a guy, I wouldn’t be writing this because I’d be out there playing and winning while my wife was doing the physical labor of expanding our family.” Serena said.

 Serena won 23 Grand Slam titles. One title was earned while she was 2 months pregnant, and then while she was breastfeeding & dealing with postpartum conditions.

For the upcoming U.S. Open, 2022, she commented, “I don’t know if I will be ready to win New York, but I’m going to try,” she said. “And the lead-up tournaments will be fun"

I’m terrible at goodbyes, the world’s worst," She further added, "I’m going to miss that version of me, that girl who played tennis. And I’m going to miss you.”
