Roma's Jose Mourinho makes European coaching history

Jose Mourinho celebrated an historic achievement and become the second manager to win 5 major European titles on Wednesday.

Earlier Mourinho won the Champions League, Europa League and the UEFA Cup that completed a unique European trophy haul.

Since 2003 that is 5 European finals at Porto, Internazionale, Manchester United and Roma that Mourinho has coached in and 5 times he has taken trophy.

The win makes him the only coach in European history to won the Champions League, Europa League, UEFA Super Cup and, the Conference League.

Mourinho said "The great thing about my career is that the Europa League with Manchester United, doing it with Porto, Inter and Roma is very, very, very special"

It represented end to his first season in Italian capital for Mourinho and having steered his side to a sixth-placed finish in Serie A this term.

The Portuguese has no plans to seek new challenges as he is already looking to next season with the club.

Mourinho said "Now I am staying, there are no doubts, Even if some rumours ermerge I only want to remain at Roma"

Mourinho further said "We must understand what our owners, who are fantastic people, want to do next season, because this is history"
