Oscars producer Will Packer support Will Smith's Public Apology

Recently Oscars producer Will Packer showed his support for Will Smith.

On March 28, Will smith slapped Chris Rock on the live stage of Oscar as he made fun of Will Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett for her shaved head.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Packer spoke some words for, Will that he appreciates Will's apology in front of the audience and Academy.

"I love the fact that he's being so transparent about his process, He is being very public and honest and open about his remorse," Packer said.

"I think that he's got three decades in this business of being somebody that is the exact opposite of who he was in those few seconds, and so I'm pulling for him," he added.

On 29, July 2022, Will Smith posted a 5 min. and 44s long video on his youtube channel and Instagram captioning "It's been a minute..."

In the video, he apologized again. "My behavior was unacceptable and I am here whenever you are ready to talk," Will said.

Chris Rock slammed Smith's apology while joking, "If everybody claims to be a victim, then nobody will hear the real victims. Even me getting smacked by Suge Smith."

Rock further added on his Ego Death World Tour, "Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face."

The controversy still is on the stage of the media and the public. Some are supporting Will while some are joking about his apology.
