Moses Ingram plays the villainous Sith Inquisitor Reva Sevander on the new Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi is getting racist messages since the show premiered last week.

Obi-Wan Kenobi spoke out today about the racist messages being sent to actress Moses Ingram, he posted a video clip to Twitter

He said “I heard some of them this morning and it just broke my heart, Moses is a brilliant actor, she is a brilliant woman and she’s absolutely amazing in this series"

He further said "I just want to say as the leading actor and executive producer on the series, that we stand with Moses, We love Moses"

He also said "If you are sending her bullying messages, you’re no Star Wars fan in my mind. There’s npo place for racism in this world.”

Ingram shared some messages on her Instagram story that she received from strangers. One said, “You’re days are numbered,”.

Another message that Ingram recive said “You suck loser,” and, “You’re a diversity hire and you won’t be loved or remembered for this acting role.”

Ingram said “There’s nothing anybody can do to stop this hate. I question my purpose in even being here in front of you saying that this is happening. I don’t really know.”
