Heartstopper was released on 24 April 2022 and got, 53.4 million hours which was around half of First Kill's viewing. lots of controversy was appeared for this.

The day I found out my first tv project was being picked up for an entire season, was one of the best days of my life. But that doesn’t mean this—the day it got cancelled—is the worst. -  Schwab
