Leslie Mann & Tim Robbins taking Exit from ‘The Power’ Amazon Drama Series

Leslie Mann and Tim Robbins have left Amazon Studios’ global thriller drama series The Power. Both roles in the series will be recast.

‘The Power’ was adapted by Naomi Alderman which is based on her feminist sci-fi book. It has total 10-episode series from Sister and director Reed Morano

Mann was cast as lead Margot Cleary-Lopez in October 2019. Rainn Wilson was cast as male lead Daniel Dandon in February 2020.

All Hollywood production was shut down by mid-March due to the pandemic. Filming was delayed for months by Covid

Wilson left the project, and Robbins was cast as Dandon in January 2021 when the role switched from a series regular to a occur as guest star.

A year and a half later, the series is back in production. With both Mann and Robbins now departing, their scenes will be reshot.

The Power follows a cast of amazing characters as it evolves from a tingle in teenagers collarbones to complete reversal of the power balance of the world.

Daniel Dandon is the self-righteous and self-important Republican governor of Washington state and constant thorn in the side of Democrat Cleary-Lopez.

The Power is produced by Sister and executive produced by Alderman and co-executive produced by Sarah Quintrell. Tim Bricknell is producing.
