Kat Cole is an American businesswoman, the former Chief operating officer, and president of North America for Focus Brands. She is born in Jacksonville and raised in Orange Park, Florida.
Kat also previously worked as the president of Focus Brands' subsidiary Cinnabon. It is an American chain of retail bakeries that is specialized in cinnamon buns.
Prior to Cinnabon, she also worked as an executive vice president of Hooters. She is the eldest of three sisters. Her parents separated when Kat was nine years old.
Her mother raised the three girls as a single mother. Kat started working at the age of 16 to support her mother and raise her two sisters.
Kat left her undergraduate engineering program at the University of North Florida. Later in the year 2010, she completed her MBA degree from Georgia State University.
Prior to working at Hooters, Kat worked at The Body Shop. At Hooters, she started working as a hostess, and later at the age of 26, she become the vice president.
During her appearance on the American television show Undercover Boss, she worked anonymously in numerous Cinnabon retail and production roles.
