Joelle Joanie "JoJo" Siwa is an American dancer, singer, and YouTuber born on May 19, 2003, in Omaha, Nebraska to Jessalynn and Tom Siwa.
JoJo appeared on Dance Moms for two seasons with her mom Jessalynn who is a dance instructor from Iowa & and for her singles "Boomerang" and "Kid in a Candy Store".
She is also a YouTuber. She posts daily videos on her YouTube channel in which she features her day-to-day life. Her channel name is "Its JoJo Siwa".
In the year 2020, Time included her name in the list of the 100 most influential people in the world. She has an older brother Jayden Siwa, who is also a vlogger.
JoJo started her dancing career as a top-5 finalist on season 2 of Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition, produced by Abby Lee Miller of Dance Moms fame.
She was the youngest contestant in the second season. She appeared on the show with her mother and got eliminated in week 9 and later appeared on Dance Moms.
In 2018, JoJo announced that she would be going on her first major concert tour in which she will visit some theaters, outdoor amphitheaters, and stadiums in 2019.
