Jho Low also known as Low Taek Jho is a Malaysian fugitive businessman and Mastermind behind the 1Malaysia Development Berhad scandal (1MDB).

When Najib Razak became prime minister in Malaysia Low came up with the idea of creating a sovereign wealth fund, and 1MDB was born.

He took control of the fund and siphoned $700 million to himself and giving him access to unlimited wealth.

He is accused of being the planner of the massive fraud, which prosecutors allege was a scheme to siphon US$4.5 billion from 1MDB into Low's personal accounts.

The hunt for Jho Low, wanted in a global corruption probe in connection with the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) state fund, is now shifting to the West Indies islands.

Low partied like there was no tomorrow he even paid  celebrities like Megan Fox, Paris Hilton, and Leonardo DiCaprio to attend his party.

He has managed to travel freely despite the Malaysian police submitting an Interpol red alert, saying these actions are politically motivated.

Now as per news On May 7, 2021, 1MDB and its four subsidiaries filed a US$3.7837 billion suit against Jho Low, his father, his sister, and his brother.
