Jerry Seinfeld is an American comedian. His tv show Seinfeld (1989–98) was a landmark of American popular culture in the late 20th century.
He was interested in comedy from a very young age through the influence of his father, a sign maker who was also a closet comedian.
He started his comedy training when he was eight years old. In 1976, he made his stand-up debut and started appearing on The Tonight Show in 1981.
