Wardell Stephen "Dell" Curry is a retired American professional basketball player. In the 1986 NBA Draft, he was drafted 15th overall by the Utah Jazz.
He used to play at the shooting guard and the small forward positions. He also played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Hornets, and Toronto Raptors.
Later, in his life, Dell started playing in the National Basketball Association from 1986 until 2002. Dell attended school at Virginia Tech when he was young.
He was added to the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in the year 2004. Dell was very interested in sports from a very young age. He used to play both basketball and baseball in school.
After tasting success in the basketball games played for his school team, Dell decided to pursue a career in basketball. After getting success at the college-level games Dell entered NBA.
During his entire career, he played for multiple franchises. Dell was born in June 1964 in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He is the father of NBA MVP Steph Curry and NBA player Seth Curry.
