David Harbour reveals his body transformation Journey for Stranger Things.

 Harbour will be going live on Friday with his trainer to answer fans' questions and share some advice. 

You all have seen drastic changes in David Harbour’s body weight in the Netflix sci-fi Stranger Things’ fourth season.

On Thursday 47-year-old actor David Harbour opens up on his Instagram about what went into his character Hopper's slimmed-down look.

The fourth season included a scene between Hopper and Joyce where he was shirtless. Hopper is not only dramatically underweight but he's covered in scars. 

David had previously said he lost around 80 pounds for the Netflix series. In the caption of an Instagram post of Thursday afternoon he said:

“My trainer David Higginslondon worked with me for 8 months to make the transformation, and then another year to keep it through the pandemic.”

“All told it was a difficult and exciting ride, changing diet and exercise plans. We are gonna do an Instagram live tomorrow Friday at 4 pm UK time, which is 11 am eastern I believe.”

Said “I am struggling to fight back down towards a good weight for wherever hopper ends up in season 5. All this up and down is not good for the body, and I’ll have to give it up soon.  

In an interview with British GQ earlier this month, Harbour he lost weight by doing intermittent fasting and Pilates. "I don't think I'll ever do that again," he told the outlet.
