Black Dahlia Murder Lead Singer Trevor Strnad died At 41

Trevor Strnad, vocalist, and co-founder of the Michigan band, The Black Dahlia Murder.

The Black Dahlia Murder announced revealed the news on their official Instagram page on May 11.

“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Scott Strnad. Beloved son, brother, and Shepard of good times, he was loved by all that met him,”

Born in 2001, The Black Dahlia Murder reaped success throughout its two decades of existence.

The Black Dahlia Murder released their first LP Unhallowed in 2003 on Metal Blade Records. Their last album was Verminous, released in 2020.

In 2020, Strnad sang on the title track for Undeath’s debut album Lesions of a Different Kind.

Although the reason for his death has not been made explicit, at the end of the post there is a suicide prevention helpline.

Strnad recorded nine albums with the band during his twenty-year career, being Verminous from 2020 the last of them.
