The 37-year-old Theranos founder, who is awaiting criminal trial for 12 counts of fraud, welcomed her first baby boy William on July 10, 2021, with partner Billy Evans. In early 2019, Holmes became engaged to William “Billy” Evans.
Elizabeth Holmes gave birth to a baby boy named William Holmes Evans on July 10 in Redwood City, Calif. She revealed that she was pregnant back in March 2021 in documents that were filed to the court.
Her trial was scheduled to begin on July 13, but her pregnancy delayed the trial’s start date until August 31. She faced up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000 for each of the 12 counts. She has pleaded not guilty.

On November 2022 she was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison while she was pregnant and she is expected to begin her sentence on April 27, 2023.
But in February 2023 it was reportedly revealed that Elizabeth and Billy Evans welcomed their second baby after that she requested the court to postpone her sentence however her appeal is still pending.
